FlickFleet Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 13, 2026

FlickFleet is the App Store name of the game developed under the working title Paper Fleet Duel. This policy applies to the released iPhone game.

1. Information stored on your device

FlickFleet may store the following information locally on your iPhone:

• Player One, Player Two and AI captain names entered in the game;
• completed campaign levels, credits, purchased ships and fleet selections;
• scores, high scores, game results and progression;
• difficulty, sound and other game preferences; and
• temporary game state needed to play or resume a match.

This information is used only to provide the game’s features. Know & Guide does not operate a FlickFleet account system or remote player-profile database.

2. Offline computer opponent

The computer opponent uses local game logic, geometry and controlled aiming error. It runs on the device and does not require an online AI service or large language model. Player names, fleet positions, flicks and results are not sent to an AI provider by the game.

3. Device permissions

The current version does not need access to your microphone, speech recognition, camera, photos, contacts, location, health information or advertising identifier to provide normal gameplay.

4. Information we do not collect through the game

The current version of FlickFleet does not include:

• third-party advertising;
• third-party analytics or tracking SDKs;
• a user login or online account profile;
• location or contact-list collection;
• social-media tracking; or
• payment-card collection by Know & Guide.

App downloads and any Apple-authorised purchases are handled by Apple under Apple’s own privacy and payment terms.

5. Support and issue reports

If you contact support by email or create a GitHub issue, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address or GitHub username, device details, screenshots and problem description. Public GitHub issues can be read by other people. Do not include passwords, financial information, personal contact details or other sensitive information in an issue report.

6. Data deletion

Where a reset option is available in the game, it may be used to clear the associated local progress. Deleting FlickFleet from the iPhone normally removes its locally stored data unless that information is retained in an Apple device or iCloud backup. Backup retention and deletion are controlled through your Apple and iCloud settings.

7. Children’s privacy

FlickFleet is a general strategy game. It does not require an account and is not designed to collect personal information from children through a Know & Guide server. Parents and guardians should ensure that children do not include personal information in public issue reports or support emails.

8. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the game’s features or data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when material changes are published.
