Common questions

The other player or AI does not receive a turn

Wait for the attack line and ship movement animation to finish. If control does not pass to the next captain, record the game mode, difficulty, current level and the last action taken, then submit an issue using the button above.

My flick did not travel in the direction I expected

The shot direction is taken from the first instant of finger movement and is locked after launch. Begin with your finger on your own half, then make one clean movement toward the opposing fleet. Starting farther from the centre line produces more force.

Why did a ship move during an attack?

Ships may move inside their assigned waters while an attack is underway. Some ships remain anchored on a turn. Moving ships travel from their visible bow, and larger ships turn more slowly than small craft.

Where are names, levels, credits and scores stored?

Player names, the AI name, campaign progress, credits, fleet purchases and high scores are stored locally on the iPhone. The game does not require a Paper Fleet Duel account.

Will deleting the game remove my progress?

Deleting the app normally removes its local data. Some information may remain in an Apple device or iCloud backup depending on your backup settings.

Prototype status

Paper Fleet Duel is under active development. Gameplay balance, fleet movement, AI difficulty, campaign rewards and interface details may change as testing continues.
