Starfall Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 19, 2026

Starfall is an iPhone and iPad arcade game by Know & Guide. Its Apple bundle identifier is com.knowandguide.StarfallInterceptor.

1. Information stored on your device

Starfall may store the following information locally on your iPhone or iPad:

• pilot callsign and career information;
• scores, carried scores, pilot rank, XP, achievements and mission medals;
• campaign and level progress, save checkpoints and game results;
• Star Credits earned through gameplay and ship upgrades purchased with those in-game credits;
• difficulty selection, music preference, handed-control preference and other game settings;
• whether the one-time opening story has already been viewed; and
• temporary game state required to play or resume the game.

This information is used only to provide Starfall's game features. Know & Guide does not operate a Starfall account system or remote player-profile database.

2. Offline gameplay and enemy behaviour

Enemy movement, combat behaviour, boss encounters, scoring, progression and the liberation system use local game logic on the device. Starfall does not require a large language model or external AI service for normal gameplay. Player actions, ship positions, scores and results are not sent to an AI provider by the game.

3. Device permissions

The current version does not need access to your microphone, speech recognition, camera, photos, contacts, precise location, health information or advertising identifier for normal gameplay.

4. Information we do not collect through the game

The current version of Starfall does not include:

• third-party advertising;
• third-party analytics or cross-app tracking SDKs;
• a Know & Guide login or online player account;
• location or contact-list collection;
• social-media tracking;
• Game Center account collection by Know & Guide; or
• payment-card collection by Know & Guide.

The current Starfall build uses in-game Star Credits earned through play for ship upgrades and does not require real-money purchases for those upgrades. App downloads and any future Apple-authorised purchases would be handled by Apple under Apple's own privacy and payment terms.

5. Support and issue reports

If you contact support by email or create a GitHub issue, Know & Guide receives the information you choose to provide, such as your email address or GitHub username, device details, screenshots and problem description. Public GitHub issues can be read by other people. Do not include passwords, financial information, private contact details or other sensitive information in an issue report.

6. Data deletion

Starfall progress is stored locally rather than in a Know & Guide cloud account. Deleting Starfall from the device normally removes its locally stored data unless that information remains in an Apple device or iCloud backup. Backup retention and deletion are controlled through your Apple and iCloud settings.

7. Children's privacy

Starfall is a general arcade game. It does not require an account and is not designed to collect personal information from children through a Know & Guide server. Parents and guardians should ensure that children do not include personal information in public issue reports or support emails.

8. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when Starfall's features or data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when material changes are published.
