Common questions

What is the aim of Starfall Interceptor?

The hostile ships are under mind control by The Veil. The player's SoulHeal laser is designed to liberate controlled pilots rather than simply destroy them. When a ship is fully liberated it becomes harmless, changes to its liberation state and leaves the battle.

How do Beginner, Normal and Expert differ?

Beginner begins with the training levels and uses the gentlest speed and aggression curve. Normal starts later with full standard movement speed and stronger aggression. Expert increases movement and combat tempo further for experienced players.

Can I swap the joystick and fire controls?

Yes. Pause the game and choose Swap Controls. The joystick and FIRE/HYPER control cluster change sides for left- or right-handed play, and the preference is saved locally.

How do ship upgrades work?

Star Credits are earned by playing. They can be used for persistent ship upgrades such as shield capacity, shield regeneration, laser capability, engine thrust and Hyperdrive cooling. These gameplay upgrades are earned in the game rather than purchased with payment-card information.

What happens when I lose all lives?

After the final life is lost, the current run ends and Starfall Interceptor returns to the pilot-mode selection screen so you can choose Beginner, Normal or Expert for the next run.

Can I turn the background music off?

Yes. Pause the game and turn Music off. This silences the background soundtrack while leaving lasers, impacts, Hyperdrive and alien liberation voices available.

Where are scores, achievements and upgrades stored?

Starfall Interceptor stores game progress locally on the device. This includes scores, career progress, medals, achievements, Star Credits, upgrades, settings and save/checkpoint information. A Know & Guide account is not required.

What happens at the end of the current campaign?

The campaign spans three worlds. After completing the frontier of the current campaign, the ending screen allows the player to restart and choose a different skill level while retaining accumulated score and persistent ship abilities.

Will deleting the game remove my progress?

Deleting the app normally removes locally stored Starfall Interceptor data. Some information may remain in an Apple device or iCloud backup depending on your backup settings.

Privacy

Starfall Interceptor does not require a Know & Guide account and the current version does not include third-party advertising or analytics. Read the full policy for details about locally stored progress and support communications.
